The Washington Polish Film Festival (WPFF), presented by the Kosciuszko Foundation, DC Chapter, now brings another important cultural event to the nation's capital.

In Jesters (Błazny), the lives of a group of film students are turned upside down when they learn their final diploma film will be directed by the famous filmmaker Gajda.

Two estranged half-sisters, long at odds, embark on a journey to Ukraine to rescue their gravely injured father. Along the way, they are confronted with a war-torn landscape filled with bombed-out homes and charred tanks. Near Kharkiv, they unknowingly cross the front line and find themselves in a region occupied by Russian forces.
