The second edition of the KF Washington DC Polish Film Festival will showcase 11 feature films and 10 short films from March 4– March 9 at the E Street Cinema, only 2 blocks from Metro Center, in DC's Penn Quarter.

In Jesters (Błazny), the lives of a group of film students are turned upside down when they learn their final diploma film will be directed by the famous filmmaker Gajda.

Two estranged half-sisters, long at odds, embark on a journey to Ukraine to rescue their gravely injured father. Along the way, they are confronted with a war-torn landscape filled with bombed-out homes and charred tanks. Near Kharkiv, they unknowingly cross the front line and find themselves in a region occupied by Russian forces.

Once war in Ukraine breaks out, five women — each representing a different generation and points of view — start a desperate fight to save themselves and their loved ones.
